Working alongside local health and community teams, we provide personalised care that helps people build resilience, find support and take positive steps towards recovery.
About the role:
- Make every interaction count. Deliver mental health assessments, risk assessments, triage, care planning and therapeutic interventions that help consumers work towards recovery and achieve their goals.

- Team up and make an impact. Collaborate with consumers, carers and multidisciplinary teams, provide outreach support across Central Queensland, and participate in extended-hour services to help people access the care they need.
- Share your skills and spark change. Help improve services by contributing to clinical data collection and quality improvement initiatives, while supporting students and less experienced staff to develop their confidence and skills.
About you:
- You hold the relevant qualifications and professional registration for the role, with eligibility to become an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 a definite bonus!
- Have the clinical know-how to support people experiencing complex mental health challenges, including risk assessments and triage, and understand the relevant Queensland legislation and national standards.
- Bring strong therapeutic communication skills, build trusting relationships with consumers and colleagues, and thrive when working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Can juggle competing priorities, deliver quality adult mental health care and share your knowledge by guiding and educating colleagues as part of a supportive team.
