Coorparoo Community Care Unit are looking for an Exercise Physiologist to join their team. The Coorparoo Community Care Unit comprises of 20 one-bedroom units and a shared communal area. It is a facility for adults with mental illness who are in recovery and require additional support and life skills to successfully transition to independent living. The service aims to promote an individual’s recovery from mental illness by providing holistic opportunities that maximise their strengths and potential. The clinical team supports residents to increase their capacity and confidence to function within the community.

About the Role
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver exercise physiology services, within the Coorparoo Community Care Unit including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff.
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to exercise physiology decision making under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff.
- Manage an appropriate caseload using effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation.
