Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking expressions of interest for future Psychologist employment opportunities, for both temporary and casual vacancies.If deemed suitable your details will remain in this Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you may be contacted by the Psychology Department at the time an opportunity arises.
Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions. Further assessment may be required.

The Opportunity
The Psychology Clinical Talent Pool is used to fill casual vacancies plus short-term and longer-term temporary vacancies for HP3 Psychologist roles across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
The Psychology Service provides access to psychological assessments and interventions that contribute to a patient's ongoing clinical management and care.

Role requirements
- Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).
- While not mandatory, a PsychBA Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology would be highly regarded, as would PsychBA approved Supervisor status.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) according to the Queensland Health Policy.

- $2941.70 - $4459.00 p.f. (full-time)
- $38.70 - $58.67 p.h. (part-time)
- $47.60 - $72.16 p.h. (casual)
