About your opportunity:

Permanent full-time opportunity available as a Clinical Nurse at the Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Services, located at Kirwan Health Campus.

Take a leadership role within the multidisciplinary team for the Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Service to provide care for all young people which is safe, of the highest quality possible and in accordance with established professional standards including the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses Standards of Practice for Mental Health Nursing in Australia and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.

As a Clinical Nurse, assess, identify, plan, develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate clinical care within primary nursing and case management frameworks for adolescents and their families who are admitted to the Adolescent Inpatient Unit or enrolled in the Day Services Program.

Generous remuneration package value up to $132,289 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $4138.10 to $4431.10 p.f. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:

  • Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
