Employment Services sits within the People, Strategy and Governance Directorate and delivers a client-focussed, end-to-end recruitment service for hiring managers within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

The office is located in the Clinical Practice Building on the James Cook University Campus.

About your opportunity

A permanent full-time role (76 hours p.f.) is available with the Employment Services (Townsville HHS) unit located at the Clinical Practice Building on the JCU Campus in Townsville.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of a client-focussed recruitment service undertaking advertising, recruitment and appointment processes in accordance with Queensland Health policy, and guidelines including the provision of advice relating to directives, policies, procedures and options relating to recruitment and selection and workforce.

Employment Advisors provide operational advice to all levels of management and staff across our workforce including HHS strategic programs, project and initiatives relating to end-to-end recruitment within the Townsville HHS.

Manage, mentor and coach recruitment officers within your team, with an ongoing commitment to build team effectiveness, efficiency and capability for future succession planning and career pathway within the team and wider unit.

Generous remuneration package value up to $110,852 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $88,187 to $97,156 p.a. (AO4)
  • 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

  • Previous end to end recruitment experience (including the advertising component), knowledge in talent acquisition and highly developed administration, leadership skills and experience would be highly desirable.
  • A 3-month probationary period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted for the successful applicant.
