Role responsibilities
Policy and Program Development
You will have responsibility for the following activities and tasks:
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of complex policies and programs, ensuring they align with organisational objectives, government priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on policy and program matters, providing evidence-based recommendations that address risks and opportunities.
• Manage stakeholder engagement processes by fostering collaboration, gathering diverse perspectives, and ensuring policies and programs reflect stakeholder needs and priorities.
• Oversee the preparation of high-level reports, submissions, and correspondence to effectively communicate complex information with clarity, accuracy, and alignment to organisational standards.
• Monitor emerging trends and issues to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring policies and programs remain relevant, responsive, and forward-looking.

Data Analytics and Business Insights
You will have responsibility for the following activities and tasks:
• Lead the design and delivery of advanced data analytics projects, ensuring they align with organisational priorities and deliver actionable insights.
• Provide expert advice on data-driven decision-making to senior management, translating complex data insights into clear, strategic recommendations.
• Develop and implement data strategies that optimise data collection, integration, and analysis processes, to improve organisational performance.
• Mentor and support junior team members in data analysis and reporting, by providing technical guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, ensuring all analytics activities comply with organisational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
