About the role

Deliver high level Speech Pathology clinical services (which may include assessment, investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and case management) within a single or multidisciplinary team, in accordance with evidence-based practice and prescribed professional and ethical standards, to inpatients and outpatients at Mount Isa Hospital. 

Requirements

  • Mandatory requirements are a tertiary degree in Speech Pathology providing eligibility for practicing membership to Speech Pathology Australia
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Status with Speech Pathology Australia is desirable
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
