- Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum.
- Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum.
- Rural and Remote incentive: Category D allowance of $431.22 p.f.

About the role
As part of the North West HHS Acute Care Service, you'll provide evidence-based, person-centred care for people experiencing acute mental health and/or alcohol and drug concerns. You'll deliver crisis support, early intervention and short-term treatment, while ensuring safe transitions to ongoing care or external services.
You will:
- Provide clinical assessment, intervention and crisis management.
- Work collaboratively to support recovery outcomes.
- Deliver culturally safe and responsive care.
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licence. Please refer to Role Description for further information regarding the qualifications, registration and membership.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
