Vacancy details
Permanent or temporary (up to 2 years) roles available, hours are negotiable.
Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $510,715 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $87.25 to $127.77 p.h. (L13-L27)
- 4-5 weeks annual leave with 14-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (35-40% base salary)
- Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance $21,000 or$25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
- Inaccessibility allowance of $13,800 p.a.
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Staff accommodation may be available, or rental assistance up to $480 per week may be negotiated.
Relocation costs, including transportation, may be negotiated up to $20,000.
Requirements:
- Qualified as a medical practitioner and current registration and/or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Competence and capability in primary rural medical practice and or emergency medicine (particularly hospital-based practice).
- FACRRM or FRACGP or training towards.
- Advanced Skills in Obstetrics and/or Anaesthetics would be highly regarded.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
