About the opportunity:
Position: Dietitian - Nutritionist (First Nations Grad)
- This is an identified position - Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Townsville University Hospital
This position works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality nutrition and dietetic services to patients within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
Your contributions will be valued and impactful.
Generous remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $3030.00 to $4453.50 p.f. (HP3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:
- Possession of a tertiary degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential is a requirement for this role.
- This is an identified position, the successful applicant must identify as Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance, Blue Card and NDIS Pre-Employment Screening
