About the opportunity:

Position: Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist

Vacancy: Fixed term temporary full-time, up to 13/02/2026

Location: Townsville Rehabilitation Unit, Townsville University Hospital

As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, deliver high level Clinical Neuropsychology services and leadership in the area of Rehabilitation to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals.

Utilise clinical expertise and advanced level skills to act as a resource/advisory person in the area of Rehabilitation within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $157,360 p.a., including:

  • Salary range: $4912.70 to $5286.40 p.f. (HP4)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Applicants must possess a four-year degree in psychology from an accredited tertiary institution and have full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • The successful applicant must hold at least a post-graduate tertiary qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology, completion of the Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar Program and endorsement by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency to practice in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Completion of (or currently completing) an approved Psychology Board of Australia Supervisor's Training Program.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted criminal history clearance.
