Townsville Hospital and Health Service, is the public healthcare provider for the government areas of Townsville, Burdekin, Charters Towers, Flinders, Richmond, Hinchinbrook and Palm Island. We operate 21 facilities from primary care in regional locations to highly specialised care at the main hospital.

Townsville University Hospital, the largest tertiary hospital in northern Australia, provides specialist referral services for 700,000 people living in the region.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for ensuring leadership, direction, realise efficiencies and create more effective processes in the revenue space.

About the opportunity:

Position: Manager Revenue Control

Vacancy: Permanent full-time

Location: Financial Accounting, Aitkenvale

The Manager Revenue Control will lead and manage operational functions associated with revenue invoicing, receipting, admissions and private patient conversions. In addition, the incumbent will play a key role supporting revenue maximisation and compliance strategies for Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $148,322 p.a., including:

  • Salary range: $121,360 to $129,998 p.a. (AO6)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be desirable, and demonstrated experience in delivering Townsville HHS wide projects would be well regarded.
