About the opportunity:
Position: Associate Medical Employment Coordinator
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Medical Workforce Services, Corporate Service Group, Townsville University Hospital.
This role will deliver on the functions of coordinating recruitment and appointment processes for all medical staff, rostering, credentialing and locum engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Queensland Health policy.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $114,177 p.a., including:
- Salary range: $90,832 to $100,071 p.a. (AO4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
- Ability to provide guidance, on the job training and advice to junior team members on the full range of medical workforce portfolios.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, Medical Officer HR practices including recruitment and selection, industrial instruments and entitlements, appointment processes and registrations requirements.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire a sound working knowledge of, the following medical workforce portfolios:
- Medical Workforce Recruitment (junior medical officers)
- Medical Workforce Coordination (senior medical officers)
- Medical Allocations and Rostering
- Medical Locum engagement
- Credentialing Coordinator (all streams including medical, dental, allied health and nursing
- Probation period may apply.
