Vacancy: Permanent part-time, hours negotiable

About the role:
The Enrolled Nurse practices under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse assisting with the care of recipients of healthcare services as delegated by the registered nurse. Medical Ward 2 is one of five medical wards that fall within the Medical Services Group (MSG). It is a 29-bed acute medical ward with specialties of general medicine, rheumatology, and endocrinology.
The Enrolled Nurse is an associate to the registered nurse to provide patient/client centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $86,513 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range: $35.92 to $38.12 p.h. (NG3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certifictaion) and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
