We operate 21 facilities from primary care in regional locations to highly specialised care at the main hospital.
The Manager HR Service Centre will play a crucial leadership role in redefining and advancing the HR service Centre within Townsville Hospital and Health Services (THHS), within the People & Culture Group.

About the Role:
This pivotal role will drive the evolution of our HR Service Delivery Model, fostering a collaborative approach across the People & Culture team. The Manager HR Service Centre will lead and support the team through change, enhancing the value-add potential of the HR Service Centre to our clients who may be uncertain of its benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR Service Centre team, providing exemplary leadership and mentoring.
- Foster a collaborative approach across the People & Culture team.
- Drive the evolution of our HR Service Delivery Model.
- Enhance the value-add potential of the HR Service Centre to our clients.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional HR services.
- Shape a positive culture within the HR Service Centre.
- Drive the People & Culture functions towards excellence.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $166,569 p.a., including:
- Salary range: $5412.20 to $5595.80 p.a. (AO7)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
- While not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant field with substantial experience in the health sector will be well regarded.
- Highly developed leadership, coaching, and management capabilities, including the ability to develop a high-performing team.
- High level of proven oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with particular emphasis on consulting, liaising, and negotiating with a wide range of clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience or aligned experience in creating and evolving a contemporary HR Service Centre.
