This role is the perfect opportunity for a client focused and empathic Administration Officer looking to join a team that offers the opportunity to be part of an effective and motivated group who are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare within the rehabilitation environment.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional and confidential administrative and support services and assistance to the North Queensland Brain Injury Service as part of Townsville Rehabilitation Services.

This position is required to set priorities, organise, and monitor the administrative operations of the service to assist with coordination and delivery of all service components, activities, and outputs to schedule.

About the opportunity:

Position: Administration Officer (Brain Injury Service)

Vacancy: Permanent part-time, 38 hours per fortnight

Location: Brain Injury Service, Townsville Rehabilitation Unit, Townsville University Hospital 

The purpose of this role is to provide professional and confidential administrative and support services and assistance to the North Queensland Brain Injury Service as part of Townsville Rehabilitation Services. 

This position is required to set priorities, organise, and monitor the administrative operations of the service to assist with coordination and delivery of all service components, activities, and outputs to schedule.

  • Salary range: $38.81 to $43.16 p.h. (AO3)
  • 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:

  • Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) according to the Queensland Health Policy.
