About the opportunity:
Position: Psychologist
Vacancy: Permanent Part-time / 45.6 hours per fortnight
Location: Psychology Department / Allied Health Service Group / Townsville
The Townsville University Hospital Psychology Department delivers clinical, health, and neuropsychology services to inpatients and outpatients of the Townsville University Hospital. The Psychology Service provides access to psychological assessments and interventions that contribute to the patient's ongoing clinical management and care.

- Salary range: $39.86 to $58.59 p.h. (Classification)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications/ professional registration/ other requirements
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).
- While not mandatory, a PsychBA Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology would be highly regarded, as would PsychBA approved Supervisor status.
- Highly regarded: Demonstrated best practice clinical and/or psychology knowledge, expertise and skill.
- Highly regarded: Capability to provide leadership in psychology and clinical practice areas, contributing to improved clinical practice and service delivery.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
