About the opportunity:
Position: Dental Officer – Senior
Vacancy: Permanent full-time, 76 hours p.f.
Location: Oral Health Services, Townsville
This opportunity would suit an individual who is organised, highly motivated, shows initiative, exhibits diligence, is self-motivated and enjoys working within the public health system as part of a team and ultimately values high quality patient centred care in an efficient and effective way.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $194,288 p.a., including:
- Salary range: $158,532 to $170,285 p.a. (DO2.1 – DO2.3)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires possession of a tertiary qualification in dentistry from a recognised institution.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- There is a requirement that all dental practitioners are credentialed and have their scope of clinical practice defined with Qld Health before commencing employment and throughout employment with Qld Health.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class ‘C' motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
- Travel across the Townsville University Hospital and Health Service is a requirement of this role.
- Position may require rostering at various locations across Townsville University Hospital and Health Services.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
