Location: Ingham Hospital/ Ayr Hospital/ Charters Towers Hospital/ Joyce Palmer Health Service
This is an opportunity to join the rural allied health team to support the existing Senior Social Workers based in Ingham Hospital, Ayr Hospital, the Joyce Palmer Health Service and Charters Towers Hospital. Successful applicants may elect to provide casual social work services at one or many of the core facilities.

- Salary range: $49.83 to $73.24 p.h. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in social work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
- If you support Eventide RACF, Hughenden and Richmond MPHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a C class vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
