Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $8062.00 to $10,221.70 p.f. (L18-L27)
  • Annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

A Staff Specialist position is available for specialist psychiatrist in the field of:

  • Rehabilitation Mental Health Services Program Area
  • Working knowledge in Forensic Psychiatry and familiarity with its principles highly regarded

This position will provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients of the THHS. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
  • All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP committee.
  • Possession of class C drivers licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance.
