Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $3030.00 to $4453.50 p.f. (HP3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical areas including acute wards and rehabilitation settings. Supervision will be provided to optimise clinical and professional skill development and learning. Professional development opportunities are also available to enhance clinical experience. You will be working in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported.

Requirements:

  • The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in social work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
  • Roster / Clinical Rotations: The incumbent understands and agrees to participation in rotation across clinical areas and campuses.
  • Highly regarded: Demonstrated competent level of knowledge of social work practice theories, social legislation and a competent level of expertise and skill in social work clinical practice.
  • Highly regarded: Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and exercise risk management strategies where patient risk is identified, by utilising evidence-based practice.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
