- Salary range: $123.50 to $157.16 p.h (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Flexible working arrangements are available.
About your opportunity
The role of the Staff Specialist Paediatrics is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients of the Townsville HHS. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in speciality areas and current registration and / or eligible for registration as a paediatric specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with General Paediatrics.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- All applicants must be awarded Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) by the Townsville HHS Credentialing and SoCP committee.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
