Ayr Health Service is a 28-bed facility located in the township of Ayr, in North Queensland. The Ayr Health Service offers general medical, surgical and obstetric services to Ayr, Home Hill and the broader Burdekin Shire.
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $4966.90 to $5758.70 p.f. or $65.35 to $75.77 p.h. (L4-L9)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
This position is ideally suited to a Principal House Officer in Medicine. The primary function of the position is to provide high quality clinical care to patients of Ayr Health Service.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in speciality areas and current registration and/or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Highly desirable: Demonstrated clinical experience and skills in medicine, for a wide range of procedures.
- Highly desirable: Demonstrated commitment to continuing Professional Education including maintenance of personal knowledge and skills.
- Highly regarded: Ability to maintain accurate and complete medical records – clinical, administrative and statistical.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
