- Salary range: $34.53 to $36.30 p.h. (CA3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The purpose of this role is to contribute to patient care by providing clinical support tasks to increase patient nutrition, cognitive stimulation, mobility and functional independence, as delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of health professionals participating in the Eat Walk Engage (EWE) program at the Townsville University Hospital.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Highly desirable: A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
- Highly desirable: Experience in the care of older people.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Highly regarded: Ability to provide a defined range of assessments and treatments as prescribed and delegated by the multidisciplinary team.
- Highly regarded: Ability to identify and support quality improvement activities.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
