- Salary range: $2724.60 to $3361.60 p.f. (HBEA10-HBEA6)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join the BEMS Carpentry Trade to provide and maintain high quality plant and infrastructure facilities supporting patient care and staff accommodation throughout THHS.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Possession of a relevant trade certificate or diploma from an Australian University, Registered Training Organisation or an overseas qualification deemed equivalent by the Australian Government and/or relevant registration body.
- Possession of a Queensland Certificate II or relevant industry experience in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing. (Desirable)
- Asbestos awareness training and experience in the refurbishment/ sealing requirements of asbestos sheeting. (Desirable).
- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift). (Desirable).
- Medium Rigid QLD Licence. (Desirable).
- Licence to operate vehicle. This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
