- Salary range: $87.25 to $100.78 p.h. (L13-L18)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The HealthPathways GP Clinical Editor is an integral member of the GP Link team supporting the development of Townsville HealthPathways in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. HealthPathways is designed and written for use during a consultation. Each pathway provides clear and concise guidance for assessing and managing a patient with a particular symptom or condition. Pathways also include information about making requests to services in the local health system.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in speciality areas and current registration and/or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) is highly desirable.
- Experience in applying current evidence-based health care in general practice.
- Previous experience and familiarity preferred with Queensland HealthPathways and HealthPathways administration system.
- A strong understanding of the patients journey through the entire health system and with the key stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of health systems and patient care.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
