- Salary range: $35.92 to $38.12 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
This position provides specialist Palliative Care Services to meet the needs of patients with complex or resource intensive needs. It provides support, education and advice to patients, their families and members of the multidisciplinary team on matters relating to Palliative Care to ensure provision of best practice and quality patient care.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- Highly Desirable: Evidence of completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous therapy.
- Desirable: Completion of PCC4U modules.
- Desireable: Palliative Care Nursing experience.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
