Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $41.73 to $53.53 p.h. (Nurse Grade 5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Renal Unit staff also provide regular education and outreach services to community groups, other staff and family members involved in caring for people with renal failure within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
The Home Hill dialysis unit is an eight-chair unit satellite unit of the Townsville Renal Services. This unit provides a six-day service providing high quality care to patients located in the Burdekin area.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster
- Experience is an advantage, but not essential. Full training will be provided to the appropriate candidate.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
