• Casual Rate : $42.52 to $44.57 p.h. (OO3)

About your opportunity

The Operating Theatre Assistant will assist nursing, medical and surgical staff within the 14 Operating Theatre complex and outlie areas to ensure a safe and efficient work area. This position includes frequent and repetitive lifting, manual handling of medical equipment and patients. Appropriate manual handling will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to work am and pm shifts.

Requirements:

• Highly Desirable: Although not mandatory, qualifications relevant to the position would be well regarded.
• Shifts: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
