We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $62.75 to $67.53 p.a. (HP4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

The Allied Health Clinical Intake Officer (AHCIO) will support the Child Development Service (CDS) Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Clinic through a single-entry intake model of care. The CDS FASD Clinic supports children with suspected FASD to access paediatric medical/allied health assessment and diagnostic formulation services.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • The Allied Health Clinical Intake Officer position can be appointment by the following allied health disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work.
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
  • Blue Card Checks: For non-AHPRA registered professions (i.e. Speech Pathology and Social Work), potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
  • Possession of a C Class driver licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
