- Salary range: HP3: $38.70 to $58.67 p.h., Nurse Grade 6(1): $54.44 - $58.30 p.h (HP3, NG6(1))
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
As a clinician working in the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (ATODS), you will provide a broad range of base level assessments and interventions to individuals, their families and groups in the context of minimising harm from substance use at all levels within the Townsville geographical area.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.
- All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service
- For Nursing: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Enter other requirements, e.g., Drivers Licence or desirable quals etc.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and/or Drug And Alcohol Nurses of Australasia (DANA).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
