About the work unit / facility
The Release of Information (ROI) Unit processes requests for access to confidential information in accordance with legislative provisions and provides support and advice to both the public and staff on how to access confidential information held by our Hospital and Health Service.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $3481.60 to $3835.70 p.f. (AO4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The position co-ordinates the timely processing and release of confidential information to other government departments, health care providers, law firms, insurance companies, courts, tribunals and members of the community in accordance with the relevant legislation and policies.
Requirements:
- It is recommended that the successful applicant have demonstrated experience in, or the ability to acquire skills in, processing applications under the Administrative Access Scheme and both the Right to Information Act (QLD) and Information Privacy Act, 2009 (QD).
- Knowledge of medical terminology would be highly advantageous.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
