- Salary range: $39.86 to $58.59 p.h. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Deliver clinical Exercise Physiology services as a member of the community based multidisciplinary allied health team, for adults/older persons within the Townsville University Hospital catchment.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree qualification in Exercise Physiology and be eligible for membership of ESSA.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
- Highly regarded: Demonstrated ability to plan, prescribe, implement and evaluate exercise programs for community based clients presenting with chronic and aging health conditions and/or requiring short term intensive rehabilitation focused services.
- Highly regarded: Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and manage own time to meet and exceed client expectations, with an enthusiastic, calm and flexible approach.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
