Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Casual rate: $52.16 to $57.07 p.h. (Nurse Grade 5)

About your opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the unit and to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care in a family centred environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the multidisciplinary team, patients and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks.
  • Use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position.
