- Salary range: $73.12 to $76.30 p.h. (HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Manage a highly complex and varied caseload across multiple psychology sub-specialities where principles procedures techniques and methods require constant adaptation and modification to suit the acute setting, and the multidisciplinary environment of a multispecialty hospital.
Conduct high level psychological research, provide clinical and research leadership and participate at an advanced level in the development, monitoring and evaluation of best practice models of care for Townsville Hospital consumers.
Lead the development of competence in the area of chronic disease and psychological management of health conditions in an acute setting.
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).
- While not mandatory, a PsychBA Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology would be highly regarded, as would PsychBA approved Supervisor status.
- This position requires possession of a C class driver licence
- This is a (VPD) risk role.
