- Salary range: $4138.10 to $4431.10 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Townsville Community Care (TCCU) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Unit has accommodation for 34 consumers and provides a safe, respectful environment for rehabilitation with the goal of return to independent living in the community. The Clinical Nurse (CN) TCCU/ABI position provides direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support, encompassing purposeful evidenced based practice interventions to consumers.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
- Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
