- Salary range: $2878.20 to $3958.00 p.f. (HWF3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Health Worker Practitioner to join The Townsville Hospital and Health Service Indigenous Health Outpatient Support Unit. This new service will facilitate a culturally safe and responsive health care journey for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients attending outpatient appointments.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is mandatory.
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle (manual and automatic) and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
