We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $2878.20 to $3958.00 p.f. (HWF3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program (ATSIHP) aims to bring about quality equitable health outcomes for First Nations people, which are enriched by strong living culture and dignity.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Mandatory: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification: Current registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Board, including a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Work, Primary Health Care. Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care encouraged to apply, support may be provided to undertake further study.
  • Appointment, and future increment progression, between pay points HWF3.1 to HWF3.5 requires:
    • Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health.
  • Appointment, and future increment progression, between pay points HWF3.2 to HWF3.7, or HWF3.8 (limited to employees who meet the requirements of HED 04/23) requires:
    • Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
  • Mandatory: It is a genuine occupational requirement that this position is filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as permitted by, and arguable under, Sections 25, 104 and 105 of the QLD Anti-Disc. Act (1991).
  • Drivers licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a ‘C' class manual & automatic vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
