Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $128,169 to $143,924 p.a. (HP4/NG7)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

The role of the senior clinician is to support the adult case management service as well as support complex youth case management in conjunction with the Youth Team. To provide liaison and support to other services within internal and external stakeholder groups regarding young people with a substance use disorder.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • For Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Social Work the successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution.
  • For Nursing: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
  • Highly Desirable: Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or Drug and Alcohol Nurses of Australia.
  • All staff within the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
  • Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
