About the opportunity
This role works in conjuncation with the Seniors in Medical to provide high level clinical leadership for the occupational therapists working on medical floor incorporating clinical supervision and education. The role will rotate through the Senior roles within the Medical area, these include: Neurology/Stroke, Dementia/Behavioural, Geriatric Evaluaiton and Elderly Care. You will be working in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported.
The role is part of multi-disciplinary team providing patient centred care in line with the organisational values and strategic directions. The team is responsible for the provision of high-level clinical services for patients who have been discharged from hospital and require post-discharge follow-up.

- Salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata) with 17.5% loading

- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Roster: This position is required to work on weekends on a rostered basis through the Department's Weekend Service.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
