- Salary range: $2624.50 to $2759.10 p.f. (CA3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
The Dental Assistant will provide general chair-side support to Dental Officers and Oral Health Therapists, to ensure that dental treatment provided is of the highest standard.
Perform other support duties such as maintenance of instruments and equipment, ordering of clinical consumables and stock control to ensure that dental treatment is provided effectively and efficiently. Assist in the provision of general practitioner services within the delivery system for oral health care to eligible clients throughout the Hospital and Health Service
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting is mandatory for the CA3 position. However, if Certificate III in Dental Assisting has not been completed, then appointment will be at CA2 classification in the Dental Assistant Training position until successful completion of the qualification within 12 months of appointment.
- Possession of a ‘C' Class drivers' licence is highly desirable.
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. 5.1.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
