QFD is a registered training organisation (RTO) provider of nationally recognised training that has been registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). The RTO unit provides quality assurance to ensure the department's compliance against current vocational education and training legislation and the Australian Qualifications Framework for registered training organisations when delivering both nationally accredited and non-accredited training and assessment to operational QFR and RFSQ staff and volunteers. This will contribute to the effective organisational requirements in the implementation of training, assessment and evaluation strategies to meet best practice guidelines and standards and improve the department's operational capability to better respond to community impact during emergency events. Reporting to the Manager, you will provide administration and project support for a variety of initiatives and activities to maintain and improve the level of adherence and best practice with the RTO compliance framework to ensure QFD's RTO obligations under the regulatory standards. You will work closing with key stakeholders, trainers, assessor and students to monitor and conduct effective business processes to meet service delivery and project deliverables.
