Clinical Information Services, located at Townsville University Hospital are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Records Administrator - Shift who has great attention to detail.

This is a temporary full-time role, initially for 3 months, with a possibility of an extension, not exceeding 12 months.


This role provides administrative systems support in relation to confidential clinical records/information (digital and paper) within a hospital setting

About the opportunity  

The Medical Records Administrator - Shift contributes to patient flow by ensuring clinical records and information are available for clinicians to provide timely patient care.  This position delivers exceptional person-centred customer service to patients, their families and the public.

This role works collaboratively as a member of the administrative team and provides quality support to deliver a high standard of organisational and patient-focused outcomes.  This position contributes to creating an exceptional place to work by consistently aligning workplace behaviours and organisational values.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $2950.00 to $3280.70  p.f. (AO3)
  • 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
