Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $76,530 to $90,332 p.a. (HBEA9-HBEA6)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) Department supports the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) in the facilitation of safe, effective and sustainable healthcare services through the best practice delivery of:
- Asset and critical infrastructure management functions and capability
- Asset maintenance functions and capability
- Minor works, project development and delivery
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic will undertake work on domestic, commercial and industrial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Refrigeration (HVAC R) systems, including planned preventive maintenance and minor works projects, as required in the construction and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment that support the THHS in delivering safe, effective and sustainable healthcare services.
Requirements:
The following mandatory qualification and professional registration applies to this position:
- Queensland trade certificate in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
- Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence.
- Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence
- C Class motor vehicle licence.
