What your day could look like
As a Registered Nurse, you'll be part of a team that provides safe, person‑centred care to the Chinchilla community. Your work will support patients and families through important health moments, contribute to a positive care environment, and help shape high standards of practice across our service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Providing thoughtful, evidence‑informed care that supports patients through their health journey.
- Collaborating with colleagues to guide clinical decisions and maintain a safe, coordinated care environment.
- Enhancing care processes by applying sound clinical judgement and contributing to quality improvement activities.
- Sharing knowledge, ideas and support that strengthen teamwork and advance clinical practice.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who pairs clinical capability with genuine care. You listen deeply, communicate clearly and act with integrity—especially when situations are complex or fast‑moving. You take pride in making a meaningful difference to patients and colleagues, and you're energised by the opportunity to grow, contribute and advocate for high‑quality care in a regional setting.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent clinical experience and confidence applying evidence‑based nursing practice.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused approach.
- Commitment to continuous learning, safe practice and positive patient experiences.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in rural or regional health settings and/or postgraduate study relevant to clinical practice.
Most importantly, you bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to everything you do—qualities that shape the way care is delivered across our community.
In this role, you'll create meaningful impact every day while helping our region thrive.
