About the role
The Nurse Unit Manager Support Officer (NSO) operates with a high degree of independence and provides comprehensive administrative support for Nurse Unit Managers within the Division of Clinical Performance & Patient Flow.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Competent in the use of contemporary word processing, spread sheeting, database and other information systems ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well-developed problem solving, consultation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to establish work priorities to meet deadlines without the need for direct supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive matters appropriately.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the possession of tact, diplomacy, and discretion in dealing with staff and the public.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and adapt to a changing work environment.
