What your day could look like

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you'll play a key role in helping patients regain function and confidence during acute hospital stays. From shaping safe, high‑quality care to supporting positive patient journeys, you'll work closely with a collaborative team to strengthen outcomes across our service.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering advanced physiotherapy care for patients with complex and changing needs.
  • Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to enable safe transitions and seamless care.
  • Leading quality initiatives that elevate clinical standards and support service improvement.
  • Guiding and developing colleagues through mentoring, education and shared learning.

Let's Talk About You

You're a clinician who blends capability with compassion. You think clearly under pressure, communicate with purpose and take pride in helping people through challenging moments. You're motivated to grow your practice, support others and make a positive impact every day.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Physiotherapy degree and current Australian registration.
  • Experience providing care in acute or high‑acuity inpatient settings.
  • Strong clinical judgement, communication skills and collaborative practice.
  • Motivation to contribute to service development and uphold high standards.

You'll stand out if you have:

  • Experience in regional or multi‑site healthcare.
  • Additional training or postgraduate study relevant to acute care.

Most importantly, you bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—qualities that shape how we care for our patients, our community and each other.
