What your day could look like
As Nurse Unit Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening safe, person‑centred care for renal and infusion patients. From clinical leadership to service planning, you'll support a team committed to excellence and make an impact that reaches well beyond the unit.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading clinical standards that lift care quality and support confident decision‑making
- Guiding and developing your team to deliver safe, evidence‑informed practice
- Driving improvements in service performance, patient outcomes and resource use
- Shaping a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who pairs compassion with capability, bringing clarity and confidence to complex clinical environments. You lead with integrity, foster trust, and know how to bring people together through change. You take pride in creating environments where patients feel supported, teams feel empowered, and care is consistently elevated.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong clinical leadership experience, ideally within specialised or acute services
- Advanced decision-making, problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to guide teams, uphold standards and contribute to safe, high‑quality care
You'll stand out if you have experience in rural or regional healthcare and/or postgraduate studies in nursing, management or a related specialty.
Above all, you'll bring the values that drive us—compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—to every interaction and decision, helping deliver care that strengthens community wellbeing.
