What your day could look like
As Coordinator Operational Services, you'll help create a smooth, safe and welcoming environment for patients, residents and staff. Working closely with a supportive team, you'll ensure essential services run seamlessly so our community receives the best possible experience every single day.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading and guiding a diverse team to deliver dependable support services that keep the facility running smoothly.
- Coordinating operational areas such as food services, cleaning, patient support, gardens, transport, linen and waste, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.
- Creating efficient roster and workflow solutions that help teams work safely, effectively and with confidence.
- Championing service improvements and training that uplift capability, teamwork and patient outcomes.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who leads with steadiness, respect and heart. You enjoy bringing people together, take pride in supporting patient care behind the scenes, and stay calm and constructive when things change. You value safety, teamwork and integrity, and you're motivated by knowing your work has real impact on people's lives. You don't just keep things moving — you help create an environment where staff feel supported and patients feel cared for.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- A current ‘C' class driver licence.
- Experience coordinating teams or overseeing work groups in operational, hospitality, environmental or health‑support settings.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work across a rotating roster and perform manual handling tasks.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in rural health settings and/or additional training in operations, leadership or service delivery.
Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to everything you do — helping create a safe, supportive environment where patients and staff feel genuinely cared for.
