What your day could look like
You'll play a vital role in supporting junior doctors as they transition through early career training. From shaping education programs to strengthening supervision and assessment standards, you'll help create learning environments that empower doctors and enhance care for our community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Designing and delivering targeted education programs that build confident, capable junior doctors
- Partnering with medical leaders, clinical teams and supervisors to strengthen training quality and performance support
- Leading initiatives that improve supervision, assessment processes and accreditation readiness
- Driving innovation in medical education through evaluation, resource development and continuous improvement
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings both heart and expertise to your work. You think broadly about educational impact, build trust with ease, and thrive in roles where collaboration and purpose go hand in hand. You care deeply about helping early‑career doctors grow, and you're proud to create learning experiences. You bring compassion, integrity and courage to every interaction.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Tertiary qualification in education, adult learning, health, or a clinical field with additional education training
- Experience designing, delivering and evaluating professional or clinical education programs
- Strong communication, consultation and relationship‑building skills across multidisciplinary teams
- High‑level organisational and problem‑solving abilities in a dynamic environment
You'll stand out if you have experience in medical education settings, rural or regional training environments, and/or postgraduate study in education or clinical teaching.
You're passionate about developing the next generation of medical professionals and shaping meaningful learning that strengthens healthcare for our region.
In this role, you'll help future clinicians thrive- guided by compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
